Are you excited about the FIM MotoGP World Championships? So are we. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has announced Software Cradle as an Official Sponsor of the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team for 2018, 2019, and 2020. It turns out that not only bobsledders require aerodynamic simulations. The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team, too, has decided to join forces with Software Cradle – part of MSC Software – in its endeavor to obtain the MotoGP World Championship Title again this season.

Faster machine, dazzling performances: compromise is not an option

An innovative provider of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation software, Software Cradle has used thorough analyses of its customers’ needs as an impetus for its constant technical advancements. As a result, it has been able to provide accurate, reliable, and efficient thermo-fluid analysis tools for more than 30 years.

Like Movistar Yamaha MotoGP, it has a competitive mindset and is truly committed, which makes this a very interesting collaboration to both parties. “Much like Yamaha, Software Cradle has a great enthusiasm for racing and we are delighted that we are able to work with them,” says Kouichi Tsuji, General Manager of the Motorsports Development Division at YMC and President of YMR. “Software Cradle and Yamaha share many values and we are certain that this key alliance with them will allow both parties to make technical advancements as we both aim to achieve excellence.”

Masayuki Kuba, President of Software Cradle, adds, “We are certain that a much faster, more competitive machine will be developed in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Racing and our CFD software and services, and that the team will dazzle us with wonderful performances in the MotoGP races – one of the most spectacular motorsport championships in the world, where compromise is not an option.”
